• Upon arrival, the guest must sign the guest dog policy and liability waiver.
• The following information is required at check-in: the dog’s name, weight, age, colour and breed. This is necessary so that we can identify the dog during its stay. In addition, a vaccination certificate is required certifying that the dog has been fully vaccinated against kennel cough and rabies within the last 12 months, together with evidence of regular flea and worm treatment. The dog must also have third-party liability insurance (this insurance has been mandatory for dogs in Spain since 29/09/23). If the dog has a Spanish passport issued after 29/09/23, the owner must prove that they have completed the dog ownership training course.
• The hotel’s dog policy allows dogs weighing less than 10 kg.
• Only one dog is allowed per room.
• Dogs may only be walked in designated areas within the hotel grounds. Dogs are not allowed in any of the following hotel areas: inside restaurants and/or bars, swimming pools, gym and spa (with the exception of guide dogs, which may walk through these areas accompanied by their owners and, in this case, no charge will be made for the dog’s stay, unless accommodating the guide dog involves an additional cost, for example, if accommodation includes its food). The animal must wear a special badge identifying it as a guide dog during the stay (in accordance with Royal Decree 3250/1983 of 7 December, regulating the use of guide dogs for people with visual disabilities).
• Emotional support animals are also accepted at our facilities, provided that the hotel has an active pet-friendly policy. In these cases, the same nightly supplement applied to pets will be charged, ensuring compliance with the established regulations.
• Note: Areas that the dog may not access are identified by signs.
• Dogs are not allowed on beaches due to local regulations.
• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times or remain in a pet carrier when outside the guest’s room.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up their pet’s waste on the hotel premises and disposing of it in the bins provided.
• Hotel utensils, except those provided for this purpose, may not be used to feed, give water to or provide similar care for the pet.
• The pet’s food and upkeep are the owner’s responsibility.
• The guest must notify Reception and hang the “Dog-Friendly Room” sign on the door.
• Please contact Reception to arrange a convenient time for the room to be cleaned. Our employees will only enter the room if the guest is inside (this also applies to housekeeping staff, maintenance staff, room service, etc.). The dog’s owner must be in the room if the dog is present when it is cleaned.
• If the dog poses a threat at any time to another guest or a hotel employee, the hotel reserves the right to request its removal from the premises. If the dog causes damage, barks, makes other noises or gives rise to complaints from other guests, the hotel reserves the right to ask the guest to remove the dog. In addition, if complaints arise due to noise and inconvenience to other guests, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest’s account for any discount granted to those other guests as a result of their discomfort.
• Any damage caused by the dog to the hotel facilities is the guest’s responsibility.
